Nicolle Duncan

life inspires me; other artists, nature and music, I love music

Nicolle Duncan is a Biripi artist who grew up in Dharawal country and was fortunate to have lessons with Aboriginal artist Lee-Anne Hunter. She was also inspired by her dad and older sister who are painters.  Nicolle studied art at the Eora centre for Art between 2002 and 2004.

In early 2005 she boomeranged home, returning to her father’s Biripi country. Nicolle is influenced by her family, culture, music, and her environment.  In 2010 she was a significant member of Gangga Marrang Aboriginal Art Cooperative in Taree, and key in establishing the gallery in the local community with great success at the first exhibition. She has been a part of many group exhibitions and murals throughout schools and the community.
